True to form, Christmas had it’s share of surprises, not the least of which was Aidan getting a large box of Russell Stover’s and eating half of it the next day (I exaggerate…slightly).
But as long as we’re talking surprises, and not in a sweeping historical sense, then the surprise at the top of my list was a new iPhone from Lindsay’s parents. That’s right, now I’m one of those people…but I will do my best not to rub it in.
So now I’m tapping out my inagural post on the new toy and wondering if it will facilitate my posting more often. The spelling auto-correct function is a draw, but the miniscule key pad is not.
Writing this blurb has taken about 3x as long as it should, and I can already feel the irrational desire to ABBREV EV WD welling up inside me. We’ll see…
Regardless, I’m looking forward to reviving the blog somewhat in 2009. The last several months have been quad-shot-espresso hectic and we’re getting ready to enter a more sustainable phase with church planting and life. Probably not any less crazy, but more structured, we hope.
All this to say, more writing coming up, God willing. And yeah, did I mention I have a new iPhone?
